5 Day BC West Salmon Fishing
5 Day BC West Salmon Fishing Trip
The best of both worlds! $4200 US + 5% tax
This trip combines the trip that made us fall in love with the West (The One That Started it All, three day float) as well as venturing out to a second river via jet boat. This trip really encompasses the best of both worlds as you will have the opportunity to fish completely different watersheds, different honey-holes, and different surroundings. This trip will begin each morning leaving from our River Camp and either drift one of the rivers in one or two of our aluminum drift boats, or cruise a different river in the jet boat. Here you have the opportunity to reel in chums, pinks, coho, steelhead, chinook and the odd cutthroat trout.
Our river camp consists of private heated canvas wall tents with extra large cots and is located near hot showers and clean restroom facilities.

Day One: Depending on preference times we generally start breakfast anywhere between 6:30am and 7:30. Then we drive for a short distance to the boat launch where we can gear up, unload the boat and start your adventure! We start the trip off leaving from our first float spot and drift down pulling plugs, and stopping along the beaches to do some fly fishing, gear fishing or spey fishing. Hot lunches will be served on the river along with wine, coffee and beverages. We always have a cooler full of homemade cookies, loaves and other snacks as well. We float down to our pull out spot usually arriving around 6:00pm. From here we load the boats back onto the trailers and drive a short distance to our camp. 6:00pm is an estimate of the time, you can choose to fish as long as as short as you would like! An appetizer or charcuterie board with organic meats and spcialty cheese is served while dinner is being prepared by the two cooks. Here you can enjoy the camp fire, a drink and chat about the fishing you did today!
Day Two: Breakfast will be served around 7am, (earlier or later if you would like). Then with another even shorter drive to the spot where we left the day before we will unload the boats and start your second day of adventure. We float down to our camp usually arriving around 6:30pm. Clients can walk over to the camp (three minutes away) while guides load the boats, and have a shower or change out of their gear. Once everyone arrives back at camp, a hot hearty dinner is served.
Day Three: Breakfast is served around 7am (earlier or later if you would like). Clients have a choice to either continue fishing the same river, or move to another river. If you wish to fish the same river, we give the clients a choice of any particular fishing holes they wanted to go back to or where their favourite spot was. It’s great to have a second opportunity fish the same hole as the days prior as you now have a better understanding of the water and where the fish will be resting. If clients wish to fish another watershed we would leave early to a nearby river.
Day Four: Breakfast will be served around 7am (earlier or later if you would like). The fourth day will be focused on fishing a new river (if we didn’t go on the third day) via jet boat. From here we will leave early to drive to our destination and get as much fishing hours as we possibly can.
Day Five: We typically fish the same river via jet boat; however clients can choose if they would like to continue fishing the same river or drift the first river again. This day is nice to have that last opportunity to fish your favourite beaches, or your new honey-hole, or even keep venturing on to new runs in the river.
Day Six: A hot breakfast is served before we say our goodbyes. From here we say farewell or drive you to the Terrace Airport for your journey home.
